The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.
North Oconee’s win was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Rome, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 14-4 record.
North Oconee and Rome should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. North Oconee (ranked tenth) will meet Cedar Shoals (ranked 120th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Rome will square off against East Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 303 places (45 vs. 348).
