Shields brings that bad boy toughness to the table every single time the bright lights come on. Shields was the star point guard for Chicago Simeon this season. As you know Simeon has a great history for producing some of Chicago’s top talent.
We caught Shields against Kenwood Academy who were the highest rated team in Illinois all season and we also caught Lorenzo Shields against Illinois powerhouse, Peoria Manual. One thing about Shields is he knows how to back his talk up!
Shields is the pure definition of a Chicago point guard. He scores at will and his handle is impeccable. You are not picking Lorenzo Shields pocket, he has a handle like Tywon Pinkney, former Meanstreets and Chicago Simeon point guard who led Simeon to a State Championship in 2010. Shields has a sick step back and he makes decisions better than any other point guard in the State when it comes to getting up and down the floor in transition.
