The atmosphere inside the packed gymnasium was electric as the highly anticipated Atlanta Classic brought together the best young talent in the region. Scouts, coaches, and basketball enthusiasts lined the sidelines, eager to witness the next generation of stars. Among the standout names taking the floor were AJ Williams (Atlanta Celtics 2026), Omari Chaudry (Jet Academy), Pop Dunson (Atlanta Celtics 2026), Nasir Anderson (Game Elite), and Kevin Savage (Game Elite)–each poised to leave their mark on the tournament.

AJ Williams: The Floor General

As the leader of the Atlanta Celtics 2026 squad, AJ Williams wasted no time asserting his dominance. With exceptional court vision and elite ball-handling, Williams orchestrated the offense with precision. His ability to control the tempo and make smart decisions set the tone for his team’s success.

Omari Chaudry: The Silent Assassin

Hailing from Jet Academy, Omari Chaudry played with a composed demeanor that belied his killer instinct on the court. A smooth shooter with an uncanny ability to get to his spots, Chaudry drained multiple shots from beyond the arc. His defensive prowess was just as impressive, as he locked down opposing guards and forced turnovers that led to fast-break opportunities for his team. When Jet Academy needed a bucket, Chaudry delivered, proving why he is one of the most feared shooters in the tournament.

Pop Dunson: From downtown

“Pops” Dunson., showcased his scoring prowess during the recent Atlanta Classic tournament. Representing the Atlanta Celtics’ 2026 team, Dunson delivered an impressive performance in one of the games, underscoring his ability to put points on the board.

Nasir Anderson: The Two-Way Star

Nasir Anderson of Game Elite showed why he is considered one of the most well-rounded players in the tournament. Offensively, he demonstrated his ability to score at all three levels–driving strong to the basket, hitting mid-range jumpers, and knocking down threes. Defensively, he took on the toughest assignments, using his length and lateral quickness to shut down opposing scorers. Anderson put up a stellar performance. 

Kevin Savage: The Engine of Game Elite

While Game Elite had multiple stars, Kevin Savage was their heart and soul. A relentless competitor, Savage played with a motor that never seemed to stop. He was a nightmare for defenders, attacking the rim with fearless aggression and finishing through contact. His rebounding from the guard position and tenacity on defense gave Game Elite an edge in every matchup.

A Tournament to Remember
