VIDEO: KAIDAN CHATHAM, 2025 WINNING MENTALITY PG REMAINS ON THE BOARD.

It’s not easy to come across a player who genuinely wants to win and cares about his teammates no matter the situation. Kaidan Chatham a 2025 point transferred from Niles North last season and this past season he played for Evanston Township. Chatham immediately took the role of being the starting co-point guard for Mike Ellis.

Chatham helped lead Evanston to a 31-6 record and a Top 4 finish in the State of Illinois. Evanston went the entire season being overlooked but they continued to battle adversity. For Chatham, coming into a new program with a Hall of Fame Head Coach is not an easy task.

Chatham simply wants to win and will do anything it takes to win. He has the ultimate winning mentality. Chatham is great at pushing the pace and also scoring 15 feet in. Chatham has acceptable range which makes it hard for defensives to guard off of him. At 6 foot 2, Chatham is not an offense-oriented point guard, his specialty is guarding the opposing team best player. Chatham is a junk yard dog who lives to makes the winning play, whether that be loose ball rebounds, taking charges or finding the open man. Chatham is a leader.

Projection wise, Chatham would be a great Division II level point guard as of now and with the right direction and leadership he will only improve and continue to open eyes. You can watch footage of Chatham this season against the 4A State Champs, Benet Academy and also Chatham guarding Bradley-commit, Matthew Zobrist below or on Top Floor Lobby’s YouTube Channel.
