He stands taller than almost any player he has faced this season. Colin Stack is a 7-foot 2 post threat that still has one more year of high school remaining. Regardless how much time he has remaining in high school; Stack is already defying the odds.
For the first time in school history, Benet Academy won the Illinois High School Basketball State Championship for the 4A Division. The team’s success has come in major part to their great coaching and the winning attitude of the players on their roster. Stack showed improvement this season with being much more aggressive on every possession. Whether it was defending the paint or rebounding the ball, Colin was there for his Redwings team in every way.
Stack may not be the most exciting post player in the State but one thing you just cannot take away from him is his effort and strong will to win. At the start of this year Stack was reported to have averages of 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 assist per game. Stack can improve on his athleticism and his ability to take contact however his aggression has came a long way. Current offers for Stack are Eastern Illinois, Bryant, Illinois State & Indiana State.
