The 2026 class is loaded with talent and maybe the most consistent class of Division I prospects in Illinois. 2026-point guard, Jayden Wright is one many overlook. Wright is a backcourt gem. Jayden sees the floor from abroad and opens up spacing with his deep perimeter shooting ability.
Without full insight on Jayden, Bryant University is his only current offer however I could see many building low-major Division I programs inquiring about Jayden and possibly offering him. Wright carries a 4.0 grade point average and runs with the Illinois Wolves on the AAU circuit. In terms of improvement, Wright must improve on being able to penetrate without picking up his dribble. He is pretty consistent at getting into the gaps however he tends to pick up his handle more often than not.
Wright is only a few steps away from being one of the best point guards in his class. He is highly overlooked however he brings a winning pedigree to the table currently with a State Championship under his belt as a junior. You can watch footage on Jayden Wright on Top Floor Lobby’s YouTube Channel.
